Azis Armand

Azis Armand, an Indonesian citizen, was appointed as President Director of PT Indika Energy Tbk. in May 2025, after previously serving as Vice President Director and Group CEO of Indika Energy from 2019 to 2025. His earlier roles in the company include Director (May 2013 – April 2020 and February 2007 – March 2008) and Independent Director (March 2008 – May 2013).

He also currently serves as President Commissioner of PT Indika Multi Energi Internasional (since June 2020), PT Kideco Jaya Agung (since 2018), and PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk. (since 2017). Additionally, he holds positions as Commissioner of PT Indika Infrastruktur Investindo (since 2008), President Director of PT Indika Inti Corpindo (since June 2020), and Director of PT Indika Energy Infrastructure (since 2016).

He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Indika Foundation (since 2017). His previous appointments include the Commissioner of PT Petrosea Tbk. (2009–2013 and 2017–2018), Vice President Commissioner of Tripatra (2017–2018), and President Director of PT Indika Indonesia Resources (2014–2015). He brings over a decade of extensive experience in corporate finance and investment, having previously worked as Rating Manager at PT Pemeringkatan Efek Indonesia (1995–1997) and Associate at JP Morgan Chase (1997–2004).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia (1991) and a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, United States (1995).
