KIDECO JAYA AGUNG

Kideco Jaya Agung, established in 1982, undertakes surface coal mining at a 50,921 hectare concession in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, Indonesia, where it holds coal mining rights under a first-generation Coal Contract of Work (CCoW) until 2023. Kideco, which currently operates six open-pit mining sites, produces a range of sub-bituminous coal containing low levels of sulfur, ash and nitrogen, making it environmentally friendly for use in coal-fired power plants. As one of the lowest-cost coal producers in Indonesia, Kideco produced 35.8 million tons of coal in 2021 and has supplied coal to more than 50 customers in over 16 countries.

CIREBON ELECTRIC POWER

660 MW coal-fired power plant in West Java

Cirebon Electric Power (CEP) was established in April 2007, under a consortium of leading international energy players in Asia, including Indika Energy which owns a 20% interest. CEP owns and operates a 660 MW coal-fired power plant in Cirebon, West Java, which utilizes supercritical technology, including a tangentially fired boiler with LO-NOx Burners. This technology improves cycle efficiency, reducing coal consumption and air pollution despite the use of low calorific coal. This has enabled CEP to keep the emissions of Nitrous Oxides (NOx) significantly lower than the thresholds set by the Indonesian government.
