Eko Putro Sandjojo

An Indonesian citizen, appointed as Independent Commissioner of Indika Energy since April 2020 for his first term of service. He is also Chairman of Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, member of Project and Investment Committee, and Sustainability Committee of Indika Energy.

He served as Minister of Village for Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia from July 2016 to October 2019. For His services, He was awarded the honor of Bintang Mahaputra Utama of the Republic of Indonesia based on Presidential Decree No.118/TK/TH 2020 dated 6 November 2020. Previously, He held various positions at PT Sierad Produce Tbk., served as the President Director and CEO (2014-2016), Deputy President Director and CEO (2009-2014) and General Manager (1994-1997). He also served as President Director of PT Humpuss (2006-2009).

He has attended a number of leadership courses in post-conflict development organized by the United Nations University in Amman, Jordan, in 2000. He completed Diploma 3 in Electronic Engineering at the Polytechnic of the University of Indonesia, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Kentucky, United States, and a Master in Business Administration at the Indonesian Institute of Management Development.
